Explore the wonderful sights of London

St James Park

St James's Park - St James's Park

Named after a leper hospital dedicated to the St James the Less that was disbanded in 1532, the property a marshland called Eton College was commissioned by Henry VIII and converted to St James Park and Palace. After the English Commonwealth period and after Charles I spent his last sleepless night in St James Palace before his execution to which later his son Charles I refurbished the palace along with its park. St James Park is 23 hectares (57 acres) and one of the oldest Royal parks in London. To the west of the palace is the Buckingham Palace, St James Palace and The Mall at the north, Birdcage Walk to the east and Horse Guards to the east.

London is adorned with many parks for strolls, entertainment and amusement. Amongst other parks in the same vicinity, Holiday Lets London is favourable for its splendid views of the Buckingham Palace and other areas of the park. Flats for rent near British Museum recommends some other parks that can give you similar delightful experience are Hyde Park, Battersea Park an ancient duelling park now famous for its crops and Holland Park. London is packed with interesting historical marks and stories, hence whilst browsing through our five star self-catering accommodation, Flats for rent near Buckingham Palace suggests you to visit the Holiday Lets London website to gain more information on the other parks for a good mix and match of sightseeing.

There is quite a lot of breath taking views to take in at St James Park. The park has a small lake called St James Park Lake that has two islands namely, West Island and Duck Island. Duck Island receives it names for the large collection of waterfowls. The first gift of birds to the St James Park was a colony of pelicans by the Russian Ambassador in 1664 – the famous colony still exists. St James Park Lake has a Blue Bridge that showcases a spectacular west view of the Buckingham Palace framed by trees. The east view from the Blue Bridge looks upon the Swire fountain north of Duck Island, past the lake and upon the grounds known as Horse Guards Parade along with the Horse Guards Building and the Old War Office whilst the Whitehall Court is at the back.  The south of the Duck Island is the Tiffany fountain situated on top of the Pelican Rock and when past the lake is the famous London Eye and The Shard. Flats for rent near London Eye suggests visiting the London Eye to experience spectacular views of London at great heights.  St James Park is close to a chain of parks; Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.

Henry VIII bought the land initially Eton College for Cardinal Wolsey with intentions to turn Whitehall then called as York Palace into dwelling of extravagance for the king. On the accession of James I to the throne the park was ordered to be drained and filled with exotic animals including camels, elephants and crocodiles. The park was opened to the public when Prince Charles II returned from France after his exile. The park had a formal and French allure as he was taken up by the extensive French gardens during his exile in France, it was speculated that the park was designed by Andre Mollet. Charles II added a feature by adding extra 38 meters to entertain guests and mistresses, this brought about a lot of mischief to the park as the poet, John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester wrote in his poem, A Ramble in St James Park. Just as many London’s famous tourist attractions find its way into movies, books and poems, St James Park played its part. In order to quench your thirst for literature, visit our Holiday Lets London website to have a look at other similar attractions. Holiday Lets London suggests visiting Hyde Park, Kew Gardens, Battersea Park and Tower Bridge that have entered the limelight.

Holiday Lets London is close to many tube stations, the ones closest to the park are St James Park, Victoria and Westminster. Be it a transit, business or family trip that brings you to London, our self catering is equipped to suit any type of travel. Our Holiday Lets London holiday studios are close to tube stations and have specification amenities to help you settle in and unwind – first and foremost our Holiday Lets London self catering accommodation is five star material.

Read what some of Mal’s clients have to say about how this revolutionary therapy has changed their lives.

Hello Mal,

Its nearly a week since my session, the results are still developing beautifully. After a few days of feeling and looking a bit pale and low in energy, today I had a client for bodywork; the quality of my work seems positively affected, I had a really good time too! My family relationships are nicer, I am less edgy and more gentle, although firm. My energy is better…even my body odours are improved!

I’m experiencing my body more as I used to in the Sannyas Commune – as one flowing gorgeous organism, open, with immediate potential for pleasure and swift release of trauma.

Your brochure is a professional piece of work, and I have no hesitation in handing it around to the right people.

Hello Mal,

I am back in my job here in the Bank Colombia. I have been here for 3 weeks and it has been difficult to adapt again, because I really enjoyed my 6 months there. Today, I have to tell you THANK U, because London hadn’t been same without you. You made better and more comfortable my stay in London.

I have missed you a lot and I have been remembering you all the time…

Eyeryday I wake up and I say: “THANKS GOD, BECAUSE THESE WERE THE BEST MONTHS IN MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR THE ANGELS THAT YOU PUT IN MY WAY, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MY DAYS IN LONDON AND THESE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE THAT GAVE ME A HAND.”

You were one of these angels for me…

I recognize that I love my family and I missed them a lot, that my city is beautiful, that we have the best weather in the world, that people here is very warm and we have everything we need to live well and loved…but now, I must accept that I don’t have any barriers, that there are many possibilities in the world and I can do whatever I want… For that reason I know that we can see us again and there are no limits to find us and to hug us again.

THANK U, GRACIAS, GRATZIE, OBRIGADO!

Kisses,

KTA - London

Dear Mal,

I saw you on Friday evening. Thank you so much for your wonderful knowledge.

I came to you at my lowest ebb. Your treatment was like receiving/ experiencing a little bit of heaven. As the minutes moved on – the scales dropped off – I can vaguely see through the crack into the light. I have had an intermittent head-ache over the weekend but also feel more grounded, less stressed, and optimistic.

I notice that you do 30 minute sessions of chanting with sounds – Toning is what you mentioned I needed as part of my process. Please may I make an appointment for a Friday or Monday whenever you can fit me in.

I also mentioned that I am a massage/psycho and hypno-therapist. – and so as you can imagine – I am already thinking that i would like to move towards asking you to under-take to be my teacher and guide along the process – but all in the fullness of time, when you think i am ready. In the mean time i look forward to seeing you as much as i can afford. At the moment i don’t even have a job – or a divorce!

If any of your students ever need a body to work on please may I volunteer?

So all in all many doors will now open, I look forward to the process.

Thank you again for your time, expertise, patience, and kindness.

Hugs and love,

Janice - London

Read abouyt the benefits of the Yoni massage

Many women have suffered sexual abuse in their childhood which they can’t even remember due to dissociation during a frozen state at the time of the abuse. These traumas are the ones that create the deepest blocks reducing the orgasmic capacity. Yoni massage helps to release these traumas and emotions to make you free.

Initial Yoni Vaginal Massage will be the most traumatic due to the vulnerability, but the subsequent sessions get much easier as you being to peel off layers of negative emotions in the Yoni and beginning to feel deep pleasure and full body multi orgasms that you never experienced before. What most women experience is the clitoral orgasms which is very limited in terms of pleasure comparatively to G spot and A spot orgasms which runs through your body with limitless waves of orgasms that you would feel in your head transforming all negative energies in the pathway into positivity. Female ejaculations will be measured in cupful’s, soaking the towels feeling ecstasy beyond imagination.

Pleasure aspects of the yoni massage is only a tiny part of the transformation. I have seen women blossom as a powerful, creative woman developing their career, with good health and happiness with improved relationships and being able to find their ideal partner and getting rid of most of the sexual dysfunctions and disorders and many illnesses they suffered for many years. Give your child a special party to remember

Party Themes

Party Themes

Having a kids party and not sure where to begin? I found some exciting kids party ideas for kids of all ages. I was searching for some old favourites that are inexpensive but great fun for children to enjoy. Kids love to dance and make a noise, nothing better than putting some music on and play. Don’t forget some nice simple touches can make the food table look beautiful like deliciously decorated flower cupcakesParty planning made easy!

Musical bumps

Get the children to dance to the music. When the music stops, all the children have to sit down as quickly as possible. The last one to sit is out. The last child left dancing is the winner. With young children you can turn this around and simply try and spot the one to sit down first each time.

Musical statues

The children dance around to music. When the music stops they have to stand absolutely still, like a statue. If anyone moves, they are out. You can vary this game by getting the children to dance like individual animals (you pick the animal first, then the children take it in turns to pick one – you can also make it even more varied by giving them an adjective – like posh horse, mad monkey, sneaky cat). When they make a statue, it has to look like a pose of that particular animal.

Musical chairs

Put out one less chairs than there are children (or cushions, if they’re very young). The children have to dance around the chairs and when the music stops, sit on a chair immediately. The last one left without a chair has to sit out. The last child left in is the winner. Again, you don’t necessarily have to chuck a child out each time; you can just simply play a few rounds and leave it at that.

Dressing up dancing

Choose 5 types of clothing or prop, and make sure there’s enough for each child to have one: a hat, a badge, a top, a skirt, etc. Then the children dance around. When the music stops, you call out ‘scarf!’ and they all have to grab one, put it on, then dance with it till the music stops and then they go for the next item. And so on until they’re all dressed.

Old favourites

Pass the parcel

Make a parcel by wrapping up a prize in several layers of paper (one for each child, plus an extra one). Sit the children in a circle, give one of them the parcel and when the music starts, get them to hand it to the next child, who hands it on, and on. When the music stops, the child who is holding the parcel opens the first layer. Then when the music starts again, they hand it on to the next child, and so on. Wrap the final present in something obvious so that you know which the final round is. You can put a sweet or a little something in each layer of wrapping. Then the last one with the prize in can be well and truly random.

Follow my leader

Get the children to follow a leader (maybe start with an adult to get the ball rolling). The children have to follow whatever the leader does as they move around. Suggestions: hopping, hands on head, jumping, running, skipping, silly walks, turning round, waving arms, being an animal, being a posh person, etc.
