Since C-Map started producing electronic charts in 1985 they have produced two distinct types of cartridge format - CF85 [now obsolete] and C-MapNT (or C-Map NT).
The format you require will depend upon your chartplotter - early chartplotters use CF85 cartography. These two formats differ in the type of cartography contained on them as well as in the physical size of the cartridges.
