Simrad, one of the largest manufacturers of marine electronics have released a new range of compact chartplotters.  This family of products, referred to as XX33, include a Dedicated Fish-Finder (EQ), Chartplotter (CP) and Combined Unit (CE). 

These are some of the first chartplotters to feature C-Map's new NT+ technology,  providing improved chart presentation and Advanced Chart Management (ACM).

The CP33 and CE33 both include a new NMEA Waypoint and route  transfer feature which works particularly well with C-Map's PC-Planner system. Connecting the Plotter to the PC's serial port with Simrad's PC connection cable, it is possible to transfer all routes and waypoints created at home on PC-Planner into the Simrad plotter in a matter of seconds.
