C-Map Supports Malcolm Palmer as he sails around the UK in aid of charity <back>

June 2007 Malcolm Palmer is undergoing a challenge this summer, and sailing his Legend 356, Penera Princess, around the UK. He’s doing this for three specific charities: the RNLI, The Outward Bound Trust (helping youngsters to enjoy safe, adventurous experiences), and William’s Fund (carrying out research into childhood cancers).

Malcolm set off from Chichester, West Sussex, in early June 2007, travelling clockwise around the UK, and is expected home after approximately 3 months. This will be Malcolm’s longest ever sail, and he will be alone for most of the legs, although friends are likely to join him along the way.

C-Map is proud to have supported Malcolm by giving him C-Map cartography to guide him safely around the UK, and wishes him a safe voyage.

More details of Malcolm’s journey and how to donate to the charities can be found at www.charitysail.org
